We would like to develop this area into a space that could suit a wide range of purposes. From hosting a birthday party, to art and yoga classes, we see this being a very multi-functional area of the park.

In this last section we plan to design a large Monarch butterfly habitat with a variety of milkweeds to host caterpillars and abundant nectar flowers to feed emerging butterflies.

Our plan for this space is to convert it into a rain garden that could help prevent pollutants from the parking lot from washing downhill towards the lake.

This is where we will be constructing our apiary portion of the bee sanctuary.

We have some special ideas about what we will do with this space but we won't give them away just yet! For now we do not plan to make any alterations to this space.
