Urban Forestry Work Days
Join us as a volunteer for Urban Forestry Work Days!
We will be working in the upper and lower forest lots of our project space to clear out invasive species and plant native and fruit bearing trees, as well as recreating our forest nature classroom.
Learn how to identify common invasive species in Tennessee, witness some goatscaping in action, learn agroforestry techniques, and help us create a new woodland classroom for hosting workshops and other educational events.
Sign ups are currently available through Hands on Nashville and a more detailed schedule of weekly activities will be made available and updated on our website. We encourage volunteers to attend regularly to see the progress we’ve made and to be consistently in community with each other. Hope to see you out in the woods!
